Need beta test to test this program please;

http://www.inet.net.nz/~tjr/irc/sockftpdltest_06.zip - Ftp download tool beta test 0.6

You can enter your own urls into the test box.

Fixed:
Login Bug.

Few things to keep in mind;
- no proxy support
- no firewall support. yet.
- the download window will stay open, even if the file is completed
- the only buttons that work, [Pause]|[Resume] , & Cancel.
- the Save As. file requester appears after you click download.

You can "I hope" do multipal downloads with this, just click download with url, then change the url and click download again, both should download.

Lastly throw hell at it, make it BREAK!.

Works fine I guess

Appears to download a file called "semiadmin10.zip" from 203.96.91.1:1244

But where is this file? I search for this file and I can't find it - is it called "semiadmin10.zip" on my hard disk or is it renamed to something else?

should be in the same path you extracted the program from, if not its likely it didn't write it _maybe_.

semiadmin10 1024 bytes, cannot be opened (but that might be correct :-))

note that the pop up shows before background process in the console has finished

www.inet.net.nz/~tjr/irc/sockftpdltest_04.zip

nap that was incorrect it was supposed to be 130,343 bytes, try the above instead, fixed a nasty and someone silly bug with buffer over flowing, (thanks AlphaSND)

I ran the .exe by doubleclicking on it from within Winzip - so the .exe would have been automatically unzipped to my temp directory and executed from there.

When I extract the .exe to a different folder first and then run it it works OK.
