did Purebasic made this fault?

(nothing to do with purebasic program)

all my files are not saving correct

examples; i download a picture from p2p or html ect..

.bmpfile opens with (unknown application) <--saves as bmpfile
.jpegfile opens with (unknown application)
file = .exe/.rar/.ace opens with (unknown application)

no icons,

media files .mp3/.wav save correct

no virus/malware detected due to updates and virus scanning.

my files save correct in purebasic codes!!..

anyone else having simular* problems?
just seing if its a lib or some sort. no one knows

i doubt it has anything to do with purebasic.. only thing I can think of if pb writes to the registry is to set the .pb extention for the editor. if it's only a couple .ext's that are not working right click and choose "Open with" and find the right app and click always use this program for this extention (might only be XP) then it will always use that program to open that certain file extention

nope, i don't think so, probably some proggy stole all associations, or... you might have a virus :-)

I've seen that happen after installing a graphics application...
...file associations that shouldn't be affected gone bonkers! :? Joe
