I registered PB a couple of years ago, primarily for the Linux version. To be honest, I wasn't too pleased with the significant lag in development behind the windows version, so i just stopped using it all together....

Does the new version come with an IDE and/or Visual designer?

How do I get a copy of the new version?

TIA,

In the announcement area, just have to send an email to support@purebasic.com and he will send you a copy. I think he is behind a day or two as I emailed him yesterday and no reply yet :) And.. it is new years.. :D

Many thanks to Fred for the prompt reply to my request!
(Even on new years day no less! 8O )

I've successfully compiled a couple of the samples included in the new version on my Mandrake 9.1 box and everything works just fine. :) Now all I have to do is install the SDL library and I'm all set to go.

Now the real fun begins......

I'm having a problem with your email, unformed.com seems to be blacklist by my ISP...
