PureBasic IDE different from what is in the HTML Help file

I have updated PureBasic to 6.21. I notice that in the HTML Help file the IDE shown is different from the one that comes up on my computer. The one in the Help file has tabs, but the one on my computer screen has two sections one above the other, but no tabs. Is the HTML Help file out of date? It is dated June 2025.

I wonder what you mean. I suggest you make two screenshots and post them (IDE + picture in help). I believe tabs have existed in the IDE since I used PureBasic for the first time in 2004.

I will try to attach pictures:
This is the actual interface:

and this is what appears in the help file:

You need to upload screenshots to the Internet (imgur, imgbb, fastpic)

I don't know how these work. Are my descriptions not clear enough? My point is that what I see on screen is different from what is shown in the HTML Help file.

Hi John

...no not really.

What tabs are you missing that you see on the help file? Left side, right side, both?

All of them. The layout is different. In the HTML Help file the left window has tabs "Atomic Web Server.pb", "2DDrawingAlpha.pb", and "Screen3DRequester.pb" The right window has "Procedures", "Explorer", "Form" and "Project". There are no menus.
When I launch PureBasic I see a single window with menus and two panes, one below the other. The menus are "File", "Edit", "Project", "Form", "Compiler", "Debugger", "Tools" and "Help". There are no tabs.
I have to go now for today.

That's definately not 'normal'.
But I don't know any points in 'Settings' which can disable these entries.

Btw. it would be very interesting wich OS you are using.
I think you are using linux with a not common configuration.
