Virtual Bin for Resources

For anyone interested, I have posted a virtual bin maker "VBin Maker" along with a PB Library "VBin_Lib" for retrieving files from the Virtual Bin.
This allows you to compress (and encrypt) your graphics and audio into a single BIN file and then easily retrieve any of the resources from the BIN to use with PureBasic's Catch commands. Folder structure is also preserved within the BIN.
Download it from the PureBasic Resources Site under ASM Libs.

I have a little Request:
Can you write a lib, that do the same thing for resources (type RCData)?
And: Can i add your lib in the UserLibrariesPack?

I have no problem with my libs appearing on sites that allow for the selection and download of individual libs.
What I don't like are libs included in a big package where the user must install everything and is not allowed to select individual packages.

Hey Paul,
I had just a quick look on your lib, but it sounds fantastic. It is the best compromise between including EVERYTHING in one file (includebinary) and, the opposite, load all the "raw" data from disk !

While I still try to get this thing working at all, is there any way to be able to pass a file name of the "bin" file to the library, instead of it always having the .bin extension?

Heh, I would be willing to
pay money to get rid of the ".bin" extention... I'm using this lib for the SS FreeStyle project (which has become quite MASSIVE)... I would rather not have to switch libraries just to get a different extention on the theme archives...

Heh, I was willing to pay money for something awhile back on these forums, remember? But unfortunately, nobody here are really into money, and the code I needed was never created...

It's frustrating really... The library has never failed me but I can't get rid of the ".bin".....
Oh well... If that's how Paul wants it, it's his lib
I only wish one of the zip libs for PB worked with the newest updates...

Hi Guys. Did anyone shoot me an email asking if the ".bin" extension could be changed?
I don't think it would be a problem to make this change but without knowing of problems or requests, how would I know to make changes??
