i've stumbled over an awesome protection tool from what i have read, and i havent found anything that this kind of protection has been cracked.

http://www.xprotector.com

it is said that you even cannot debug an application which is protected with that tool... i hardly doubt that it is uncrackable, so i just want to know what the experts here think about this tool.

Looks very impressive, very expensive though (probably well worth it).

Could be a great tool. Can't get the demo to run. Crashed my system (xp) twice. One blue screen and one reboot. :(

If I ever need a very fast reboot, I'll use the demo version of this software...

Hmm, looks promising but what's with the licensing based on the number of developers? That's about the strangest thing I've seen! I'm not quite sure how I'd license it as the number of developers I have change per project..

Anyway, to plug a favorite of mine..... I'm very impressed with Thinstall (http://www.thinstall.com) - it too is expensive but well worth the money if you need to do some of the things it can.. The virtual machine is excellent for wrapping all the required files into an EXE and it includes encryption for extracted/cached files and lots of licensing options for demos..
