Volumetric clouds [VIDEO]

This is an example of my first try to make volumetric clouds with PB.
Im happy with the result but continue with other combinations to get other results.

Thanks miso! Last night i was making experiments with volumetrics.
Im trying to make effects like wind (dirty wit particles of dust), clouds (will be nice if cast shadows), water, tornado, rain, storms... natural effects. I think can use in the future for any game or presentation.

Awesome!
I'm curious did you use the particle engine and special shaders or just one of the two (there are also sky shaders among the Ogre files) ?

Hi benubi, I did several tests to get different results. With particles I got the worst result. I tried entities and it was horrible.
So neither of us, I did it with billboards.
I was thinking that billboards used as grass are fast to respect fps. So I came up with the idea

of putting them in the sky and the volume is just a matter of positioning them correctly in the space.
I hope this can help you to start the fly
