My youtube tricks (RSS Feeds)

So, since so many people have told us about their tricks and tips for YouTube, here are mine.
I don't have a Google account or a YouTube account. (I know that's the same thing) Nevertheless, I have a lot of YouTubers that I like to watch and would also like to be informed about new videos. I use RSS for this. YES, YouTube still has an RSS interface. It's just a bit hidden.
So we need 3 things:
1) an RSS reader. I use Feedbro
2) the ID of the YouTube channel. It's not that easy to get
3) the RSS URL that we can then use.
As an example, I'll do this with PureProgramming. Unfortunately, the channel is very old, but it's about PureBasic!
Let's get started. The URL for the channel is this https://www.youtube.com/@PureProgramming
That means the channel name is @PureProgramming. Now we need the ID. For this we use https://www.streamweasels.com/tools/youtube-channel-id-and-user-id-convertor/
The page is self-explanatory. The YouTube channel ID is: UCseEtp7WLr7pfj4w-MDbhDw
(pretty telling name)
And the RSS URL is:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCseEtp7WLr7pfj4w-MDbhDw
And this can then be easily read into the RSS reader. Cool, right?
