Early versions of PB (ever) to become freeware?

It's 2025 and Fred and the team have put some glorious 25+ years into development of PB and SB. Congrats !!!
(( call this a 'silver wedding'
))
As PB has come very far since the earlier years, i wondered if Fantaisie were going to put up some early versions as free- or shareware anytime!
Would blow-up promotion surely...
Likewise, i think its time for a bigger kind of producer's diary!!!
- What meaningfull events happened throughout the past years and how did that shape ongoing development?
- Did the social situation change within the team or their affiliates?
- What will the next 25 years for Fantaisie be like?
Hope ur interested.
HAPPY 2025!!!
