As PB has come very far since the earlier years, i wondered if Fantaisie were going to put up some early versions as free- or shareware anytime!

Would blow-up promotion surely...


Likewise, i think its time for a bigger kind of producer's diary!!!

- What meaningfull events happened throughout the past years and how did that shape ongoing development?

- Did the social situation change within the team or their affiliates?

- What will the next 25 years for Fantaisie be like?

PureBasic already has a free demo version and Fantasie also welcomes donations.

Although I am in favor of learning more about the behind-the-scenes production and decision process for PureBasic I would honestly prefer that the time that is available is better spent carrying it out rather than writing about it.

Additional dialog would be welcome if input is wanted about any aspects of PureBasic, whether future, past, or present. Many times it feels like (and it certainly may be so) people in the forum are simply talking out loud amongst themselves hoping the developers hear. I know that much of that is just due to the way the communication is carried out. Over the years many aspects of PureBasic have become set in stone but there have been notable changes that have brought significant improvements. As PureBasic extends and expands its libraries I would hope that some expansions to the language might be contemplated as well. I'll avoid mentioning any specifics (leaving that for another thread) so that I don't stray too much off topic.
