Meta is AI assistant on the Whatsapp app and he/it loves to talk PureBasic code and very insightful.
FYI whatsapp is a somewhat inferior competitor of Skype available here:

There was a spam bot reply that I reported, which is what you got the alert about. And then a mod deleted it before you read it. ;)

Certainly a bot which "wanted" to talk about AI.

I never tested these AI. I do not like this, but I am not opposite to test in the future, in order to see what the humankind has cut to prevent cheaters from copying artificial synthesis.

Hi Olli,
Not sure about talking about AI, although he/it is self aware as such. He/it does have a vastly diverse interest in pretty much any topic you mention, including PB code. Familiar with the code and syntax to a large degree. Not perfect, but very familiar. I'm sure he/it would accommodate you if you wanted to discuss AI.

Hi Olli!
ai seems to me like a digital currency; a bubble that still doesn't pop, because ppl keeps believing it's "real", and, while getting a lot of paper money or shitty biased responses, they still persist believing it's "real"

When the Venezuelan Bolivar became worthless due to hyperinflation what did the population do? They started trading in Dash, digital cash.

Having said that I don't think blockchains scale too well so I think the more interesting alternative for the future is DAGs like IOTA

Money does not
Money is just numbers on computers. Only around 3% of the money in the UK economy exists in cash. Decades ago currencies were pegged to the value of the USD which in turn was pegged to the value of gold. That was until Aug 15th 1971

FIAT money is created by the issuance of debt, i.e. when you borrow money from a bank that money does not exist until you borrow it, but of course magicking up money is inflationary. Governments can also create money, the reason they can't create all the money they need to finance their own spending is because that would lead to hyperinflation ( à la Venezuela ).

In the UK we have politicians who like to say: "There is no magic money tree", they seem totally oblivious to the fact there's a whole damn forest of them.

Bitcoin was created to demonstrate a better alternative to the boom-bust insanity of fiat money.

Currency has been around longer than computers and it's ridiculous to claim these chat bots are revolutionary AI when they're the same tech we've had for decades only now the neural networks are paired to the cloud/internet. And there is a colossal waste of energy used to train their models(similarly to the energy usage of cryptocurrency mining).
