I guess it would be Diablo 1 and 2. For some reason I still like it a lot.

I was/am not much of a computer game player but Knightmare was a nice game for MSX

A friend of mine had a C64 and on that one I really liked EPYX Winter Games

I know the question is for a singular title but when I consider the large number of games I have sampled, I will list instead groups of them that stood out as favorites.

Jumpman (and sequels)
BoulderDash (and sequels)
Descent (and sequels)
Ultima I (and only sequels before VI)
Alternate Reality (and sequel)

I have very fond memories of playing both C&C Renegade and Vietcong online, or with a bunch of buddies over LAN. Great times!

I also played most of those games, let me add some more:
- Kaiser
- M.U.L.E.
- Castles of Dr. Creep
- Impossible Mission

But I fell in love with games (shooter) much later, in 1998.
It was the year, where Unreal and Half-Life saw the light of day.

I think i even had a little pee in my pants while playing those

(still playing shooters with friends regularly, but no more pee so far)
