Quick pre-purchase question

Another version of basic that I use to develop on Windows, then deploy as Linux binaries is removing the capability soon.

So, I came across PB a while ago and it's been in the back of my mind. Before I go ahead and buy a license, can I just check that I can develop on Windows, and then compile for Linux?

Thanks in advance.

I did try searching but couldn't find a simple answer.

Mac.

No, you need to compile on Linux if you're building a Linux app. But you can do this with something like VirtualBox on Windows.

OK thanks for the quick reply, I can live with that, I already have to do that with my current flavor of basic.

I have a question too. Nowadays, who is in Russia, how can they buy? Another question is will SpiderBasik be updated for free? I read somewhere that from some year it should be bought separately.

SpiderBasic is a separate product, where you get 1 year of update free. If you need more, you have to buy another year license (but if you don't need to update you can still use your current SpiderBasic version).
