Since I have now translated my program from German to English, I would like to present it here as well.

Messinstrumente-Skript is a simple program with which you can control measuring instruments via SCPI commands. USB-TMC, LXI, RawTCP, HID and serial connections are supported as interfaces.
The control is based on scripts with simple instructions. Help is integrated, some scripts are available as examples.

I only have a few instruments and use old, slow PCs. I don't know whether the program also works properly with modern PCs and current Windows 11 versions.

I have created a first test version for Linux. The connection to LAN, USBTMC and serial instruments works. For LAN connections, you have to specify the port and the local IP address of the network card. There are still bugs in the interface, but the scripts work. There may also be problems with path specifications.
