Not sure if this is a bug, Linux ScrollAreaGadget has a weird dashed line in the background. If it's a feature it's an ugly one

If you're not sure whether it's a but, the you shouldn't open a bug report. Also you already refer to an ongoing discussion about that, which already awaits confirmation if it's a bug or not.

Sorry jacedelad did I break a forum rule?
Here are the rules by the way:
Thanks to spend time to report error and inconsistency to the PureBasic documentation. Please read the following rules before posting:
- Don't report spelling or gramatical mistakes, english isn't our first language and fixing them on the forum isn't a good place. Contact us via PM if you feel in mood to do massive spellcheck.
- Always submit your solution, so we can discuss it or copy/paste to the doc
- Explain in a few words what's wrong, no need for a very detailled post, it will save time for you and for us
Let's have a better PureBasic !
I did some googling and it does appear to be a Linux feature and has been around for a while.

You did not explicitely break the rules, but with already one thread open and the discussion still alive I would have waited until the bug was confirmed (in that case a mod would move the thread to bugs, so there won't be a duplicate). Just saying.

Honestly I had forgotten what was happening with it. I don't have the memory like some other people have. I knew I needed to make some bug reports and just clicked through my historical posts and added them. But I get what you are saying.
