User valoration in forum

I buy PB in 2012 i think.. And joined purebasic forum in 2013 and by 2018 I had 3 user level chips, then I was downgraded to 2 chips.
Why does this happen?, Did I do something wrong?, Is it because I didn't put more posts or remove some?.
I would like to know the reason if possible and how the user rating works on the forum.
It's not really a question that worries me but I find it strange.
Thank you for replying

Maybe this conversation shines a bit of light onto it:

This is automatically calculated except for special ranks, but I don't know the exact formula

My chips were put down as a joke years ago by one of the moderators. It's great because nobody asks me for anything:):)

I know that you don't want to modify the forum manually to be able to update it without problems when needed, but...
I think that the rating in the forum should be increased with the direct rating from one user to another or something similar, so that it makes useful sense.
Currently it is of little or no use.

No, please not. Karma systems just add toxicity to a community.

Maybe you're right, but in that case the current system is of no use either, even the total number of posts could be a bad indicator of experience.

Hmmm:
Honestly I have never paid much attention to the marking and always thought it was the graphical representation of the contribution count.....
What counts for me is the quality of the posts and the general behavior of the writers. And I have to say that we have some really great people here in the forum. From my point of view, therefore, nothing needs to be changed.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all.
