I dunno: maybe something that will make my neighbors' kids realize that windows is just a bad joke, even for playing games, but that's already almost out of beta-testing… (I'm trying to be cautious, but I think this thread will be erased anyway…)

The program of our dreams is all around us, Neo... ehm, I mean Piero!
We call it The Matrix.

Be aware that in this dream every "hackable animal" can be turned into an Agent Smith, or even a Xenomorph. Even you may be taken over. I'd always carry a special box with me in the matrix, with only one knob having unkowing secret functionality. It's so secret I don't even know I have the box with me. For just in case. Never push, switch or turn the button except you really have to; (pretend) knowing or (pretend) not knowing won't change the outcome - even not if you have built & programmed the box on your own or bought it from a (pretend) trustworthy "expert" source. Even tho the holographic dream is a product of collective computing it's relative heterogeneity and dynamism makes the illusion unstable and potentially unpredictible, which is cause of great concern for the agents of organized chaos & darkness aka the bullies or simpy "agents". Better always have good relations with the key maker, you will need his services one day for sure. It could be of great tactical advantage to wear a hat from the adjustment bureau, too, especially when you are getting short of keys or just need a little extra protection from ozone-free sunlight, radioactive acidic sulfuric rain or electrosmog. But they are not easy to come by these days, I have none myself

When you unplug take care of keeping your daylight and vitamin intake at reasonably high levels - that is as far as there is still a sun and daylight outside the dream because inside the dream the agents said they want to darken the place for good.


Anyway, sooner or later you can't stop thinking about the matrix and want to upload yourself into the Microsoft hivemind computer. Why? Because you got the TempleOS port of the PureBasic 9 IDE. As predicted by it's founder this must be the place where to bring the fight back to the enemy, one or more layers behind the metaverse's curtain. Until then perhaps it would be wise to practice a little and exercice in reality checking. Since it's entirely possible for you to enter a cave system in Antarctica and exit it at a very remote place, let's say the temple mount in Jerusalem in a Mosix session, with having the impression to have walked only a few minutes - which you did in even much shorter time. The answer to all these questions is the portal thing if you want just to believe it's real, or just admit you are still in the matrix, of course. Whether you traveled intentionally or not, better always take the box, the "magic" hat and a couple powerful keys with you. And better trust no one who you haven't double and tripple checked for agent infestation. If you see John Murdoch tell him that it's not his real name, they know he can tune and they are looking for him; I conclude from it that the strangers don't know our real names either, or that they can't use that secret knowledge at it's maximum potential. Which is some good news alas.

After turning 80 I started my bucket-list of math. Got through Apollonian Circles, Barycentric Coordinates, etc. I found that about half of the programs I was working on needed a Matrix library. So that is my dream program/library. Just enough to solve for all eigenvalues (real and imaginary), inversion, and basic math would be great. This would make a super 86th present.

You're not very far from truth; Italy is still probably the country with the greatest percentage of "home ownership", but that makes "the banks" angry; it will probably end with next generation.
