I would like to see an advanced editing gadget that would allow some standard formatting like:
- bold
- italics
- underlined
- show links
- variable character set and size
- etc.

Alternatively, an editor that can save the text in plain HTML text would be nice.

Thanks for the info. It's just a workaround using the Win APIs. The code can not be used under MAC ...
If you "simulate" RTF, then I would like the formatting to be carried out automatically in an editor when communicating via email, for example...
