I also have the error 0x80070643 since many weeks.(KB5034441)
But ... I don't have a rescue partition. So how should I resize it
And ... it is not my job.
If you loose data when you do it by hand, it is your fault.
MS have to solve this problem.

For an interactive windows tool to resize your partitions or general changing of the partition layout, you could use the free edition of
DiskGenius

From
KB5034441
NOTE If your running PC does not have a WinRE recovery partition, you do not need this update.

I own a PC, but I feel uncomfortable without "default system bash" and applescript, and there was
another failing update, and it's solved now, and OK, but the one on this thread is not solved still, and forgive me: I'm venting

I had the "0x80070643" update error the other day and Windows kept saying it'd try again. I did nothing about it (literally; I didn't resize any partition or try to manually update again) and now the error's gone and my PC is updated. Go figure. Win 10 Pro.
