Looks like a good start for your first game
I didn't play it, because I don't play games anymore
Mainly because I don't have time. But I had a look at your sprites and they look good for a beginner.

The sprites are very nice, except for the player sprite which looks less quality...... maybe you did that one first !?
What did you use to make the sprites ?
Biggest problem with the game is you can't move forwards...... and some of the attackers go to the bottom and move along it, or come up from underneath .......
Very good start otherwise

I left that, because of random generated path of enemies, then you don't know which one will kill you in that nasty way.
By the way you can get also source (if you didn't already got) form same link.
In fact I don't know why everybody doesn't share sources on net, that's so selfsh.
And other, you are right I made sprite of a ship first.
Game have 4800 levels at least, and every sixth level bacground will change and every 10th level you got a life.
And I done it in 3D Studio Max. All by me.

I have problems with the grafik. Explosions and the first enemy wave are complete rubbish.
I tryed to compile your Program with debugger and i get a "Sprite not init"-error.
Maybe i have a comrupped download and i don't have all files?

I think that's not my fault because others can make it work.
You can check if you extracted it well at init.pb.
