Hi,

since Rust seems to have some more secure features in comparison to C, why not rebuild the PB libraries in Rust?

Could be helpful for some applications.

Maybe wait for the big guys to suffer such a transition?
SQLite, libpng, libcurl, and on and on...
Most languages have C interoperability anyway.
