Would it be possible for the compiler to write any intermediate files (and final exe's if no path specified) to the temporary directory rather than the PBCompiler directory? Perhaps if a command line option or preference was set?

It would mean I could take PureBasic to work on a CD and use it during my lunch hour without having to copy things onto the work computers.

it would also speed up things when using ramdisks...

Very fair, I would like to do it since a while but guess what ? It's still not done . It's not as fast to change as it appears, but I will try to do it for the next version.

great! then i can finally put that 1 gig of mem to proper use!
