Lists have gone mad...... [Fixed]

Post by IdeasVacuum »

I have a number of programs written in PB for my own use, some very old, some tiny new ones this year (I'm mostly working on Android these days).

Today, when everything was fine yesterday, any program I run that has a List auto scrolls the list to the bottom and I can't access the other items

Has anyone ever heard of that happening before? Windows 7 - 64.

Edit - not just programs written in PB. I just navigated to Windows 'Programs and Features' and it's List is the same - scrolls to the bottom, if you try to scroll up, it just scrolls back down again - like being pulled by gravity.

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Any mouse driver updates happened in the background?

I'm pretty sure I saw this a few years ago and that was the cause for me.

Perhaps a broken mouse?

No mouse driver updates but it was the mouse - I just unplugged the Bluetooth USB dongle, plugged it back in and everything is back to normal 8)

Totally weird. Thanks guys - I don't know why I suspected it was the mouse, good to know that others have seen something similar when the mouse went wonky.

I have an intermittent mouse issue that just popped up on Windows 10, where i have to click on something several times. Windows is locked down and has never been updated. It is a fairly new Logitech Mouse. Pretty common issue that popped up several years ago, about the age of the Windows 10 install I am using. No rhyme or reason and nothing seems to fix it.

It was working fine for a couple of years and was fine with other Logitech mice. No idea WTF is going on. Tried reinstalling Windows 10, but it was no help.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️
