[COMPILER] Linker error! sh: 1: gcc: not found ?????

Hello the PureBasic forum. Somewhat new to Linux, Ubuntu 22.04 specifically.

Loaded PureBasic today. Version 6.02 LTS (x64) .

Getting it loaded/installed was a bit hit miss. But
I did get PureBasic up and running.
I am seeing the IDE OK.
I can load sample source files OK.
Can edit source files, no problem
So, seems IDE is up and working, but

Perform Compile / Run (F5) and I get a linker error ????
What could go wrong ???

Any thought on what to do, most appreciated.
Thanks, brasscat

Have you read the INSTALL file and install the developer packets ?

Hello mk_soft,

Thanks for your response. I have used your link, but found
it takes me to: viewtopic.php?p=555092#p555092
Which is: Module BaseClass (Module as Object) (by you)

If I search Simple Install of PureBasic, I find multiple candidates.
