I have added member jassing to the foe list several times yet I still see his offensive avatar and posts, what gives?

I am not big about censoring, his posts are not offensive. I like his questions the problem is his avatar. I watched Mr Rogers when I was younger ( like a lot younger! ) this is a USA thing.

Mr. Rogers had a nice calming show for kids so the middle finger from him is offensive. Mind you I did not know I could be offended by an image from my childhood.

Jassing, I really think you bring some good information to the forum. I hope you keep posting just know that some people are really put off by your avatar.

Are you sure he was actually added ?
I just tried and I got this message: "You cannot add administrators and moderators to your foes list."

Anyway you can always easily block his avatar by using an adblocker.
For the posts is more complicated and personally I don't think it's worth the effort, but maybe you are just disturbed by the middle fingers and if that's the case adblock it's the way to go.

Not seen that one myself, but just hunted him down and blocked his avatar. Client side scripting works wonders.

jassings avatar is offending to other forum members.
It should be removed.

Maybe a forum moderator could ask member jassing kindly to change his avatar as it seems to offend some other board members. Jassing may not realise it is offending others.

I asked him, also removed from the editor group as it's an old group no more used.

Oh, he knew. Everybody knows flipping the bird is rude. I saw the new avatar and I also know the context of the Mr Rogers image (it was innocent by Mr Rogers and just part of a kid's song), but as a still image it looks rude, and it was most definitely put up on purpose. I'm glad it's gone.
