The operation of purebasic_gtk3 is accompanied by a series of identical messages:
(purebasic_gtk3:2389): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 17:17:31.390: gtk_box_gadget_distribute: assertion 'size >= 0' failed in GtkScrollbar

Other Linux apps compiled for an older GTK 3 version also have these and similar warnings.
As of version greater than v3.16, some gtk functions have been changed or removed.
The next step is to update gtk3 to above v3.16.
