Dual Boot - XP / Win98SE

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a Dual Boot System with Windows XP and Windows 98SE. If so, could you give me a hint on
how to do it?
I need to test some of my software on XP and don't really want to
buy a separate system just for that.

Install win98se and THEN install winXP. Maybe you should use PartitionMagic or something like this to make a partition smaller.

terribly simple
i'm running multiboot's now for years
it's easiest if you use a partition manager (as partition magic)
in a nutshell:
1. install some os on part of your drive
2. install a partition manager
3. make new partion and hide your first partition
4. install another os
i prefer to start with a win98 install on drive 1 partition 1, followed by any other os in the next partition, i never share root partitions between os's
having win98 on partition one means i have good access to things like ghost etc. from a dosprompt
the first partition of drive 2 i make a primary as well, so the d: drive is shared by all os'es for temp and swap (if it's fat32 that is)
i use vamos as a bootmanager, it just depends on what you are used to and what you prefer

If you don't have, make a WIN 98 startup disk. Use the FDISK command and create another partition. Then install XP on that partition. Make sure you leave it as a FAT file and not NTFS, although I know how to uninstall a NTFS partition. It's just a pain to do but some what simple.

but can share foders/files bettwen window2000 host and linux guest?
i try but don't done
(i am only share over /dev/fd0)

you can share files between the two in two ways:
enhance linux with a driver that can see windows volumes
or
enhance windows with a driver that can see linux volumes
i've done it a long time ago, but forgot how i did it
sorry, but one thing i remember is that it doesn't work will all file systems and not all systems suppert reading AND writing
don't the newer installs have this as an option? i think i saw something like this in one of the installs i tried...
