Hello, I am having trouble installing the upgrades. My problem started when I tried to upgrade to version 3.79. Any way my normal routine is to unzip all the files into a folder that I call purebasicupgrade then run the Update tool.

The first time I tried this a got the error that the "Update directory isn't found or is empty"

So I uninstalled the program and went back to version 3.3 and have tried to update to version 3.79 again. I still get the same error.

I set a note off to Purebasic Support but have not heard back yet. This is driving me crazy as I would like to run the latest version.

Has anybody else had this problem and can help me out?

it is same: http://www.purebasic.com/PureBasic_Beta_3.79b.zip Unzip ins;t correct directory

you look here after unzip pb3.9b(structure dir&file):

the version of PkUnzip that I was using was over writing the directorys. I got the latest version of PkUnzip all all is fine now. Upgrade to 3.79 just fine.
