Windows to Linux

TI,
I have an application that I have written for Windows. Can I compile it on my Windows system and create a Linux executable?

I think that this question elicited the quickest responses I have ever seen in any forum I use! I guess it is time for me to investigate a virtual machine with Linux.

Thank you all for your timely suggestions.

No.

PB is not a cross-compiler.

Time for a VM

No,
that doesn't make sense in the first place because there are often small incompatibilities.
Get VirtualBox and install Linux on it, simpler VMware Player.

No,

Create a linux machine (Ubuntu 18.04) in a VM (VirtuelBox).
Installed the required developer packages and a PB version for Linux.
