Ubuntu 18.04LTS and 20.04LTS and GTK

Hello!
I have designed the GUI of my open-source tool to support the big gadgets in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (GTK3).
However, I have compiled it with PB 5.73 LTS and uploaded it to my website.
Then, I ran my VM with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and downloaded the .zip .
When I opened it, I noticed that in 20.04 LTS the buttons/gadgets became even bigger, barely fitting the GUI.
Is Ubuntu 20.04 using GTK4? Or is it an issue with PB 5.73LTS?
