Hi,
it would be nice if the LINUX provided checkinstall would contain

all needed Debian dependencies package also including those for Qt

all needed RPM dependencies packages for "normal" installation as well as those for QT

As distributions differ and new versions do not have all old libraries on stock any more, the need for some library configurations might also have come.

This is not a problem for me personally - all my installs have worked perfectly, especially with helpful posts from mk-soft.

But I think improvements to checkinstall or other pre-install help would be a nice thing, particularly for new PB Linux users and perhaps people switching to a completely different type of distro.
