DirectWrite \ D2D

Any plans for DirectWrite \ Direct2D?
Oddly enough, this is not just promising technologies like a couple of three years ago, now most software with productive interfaces began to use a similar bundle including all modern browsers.
I personally more interested in the DirectWrite for displaying really high-quality text. Now I prefer freetype2, but despite all its advantages, DirectWrite makes it much better with small text sizes.
