USB GPS

Is there any way to get data from the USB port like from a GPS?

I asked for that some times ago in the german forum. there is now a topic here in the tips and tricks section that deals with NMEA datas from the serial port. On my USB-GPS Mouse it simulates an "Serial over USB" port driver so the routine works too with my GPS mouse.
