Hi

I have been using PB on LinuxMint and accessing the serial ports without any problems. However, yesterday PB 5.71 stopped being able to open the serial ports. OpenSerialPort always returns 0. The user is part of the dialout group it is just Purebasic that is having this problem. I am wondering what might be the cause or what log might contain clues to the cause of the issue.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Root has Read Write
Dialout has Read Write
Other has Read Write

As I said before everything has been working for months. The user is also part of the dial out group.

Simply deleted the PureBasic folder on the Linux workstation and downloaded it again from the website and everything is working again. I have no idea what must have gotten corrupted in the Purebasic folder but I am just glad it is working again.
