IncludeBinary

Post by Seldon »

I noticed IncludeBinary doesn't put the included file in the EXE's resource, so I guess it's stored like raw data. Can I have a pointer to such included Data ? Manual talks about CatchImage, etc.. but I wish I could manage some data of mine. Can I use the ? operator like on Amiga's BlitzBasic? Thank you.

Well... I reply to myself. :) I've just tried and ?Data returns the pointer to the data stored using IncludeBinary.

*edit* Damnit.. too late.. hehe *edit*

yes, you can use the ? to address the data...
you just add a label befor the IncludeBinary in the datasection..
The address the data by using ?MyDataFile...
