Hi Walbus,

I'm not sure if full TIF support is mandatory for a language like PB. Anyway, that is a decision for Fred :-)

I remember that I used to work with TIF images about 10 years ago. I used http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/ to handle the images (eg adding pages etc). That should also work for PureBasic.

I created a plugin a few years ago that also can output tiff

but a built in tiff encoder would be great (especially 32 bit RGB with alpha channel and zip compression).

Yep,
thanks all for the answers and hints.
Primary i self use the great module from Wilbert, above.
But, also i self think, its time PB should supporting different TIF saving functions.

TIF with CCITT G4 compression is still widely used for b/w images
