- Aero or classic window
- Shadow with any width
- No shadow
- Zero-Order intact
- Clipboard and Saved image are identical

Feel free to adapt it

Hi Rashad

We have a good supply of coffee, but I still can't work out how to take a snapshot........

Hi IV
1- Click Re/Start at any time to load and refresh a list for the current running programs
2- Move the cursor to your aim at the list then click the left button
Now your snap will be in the Clipboard
3- Click Save As to save the snap (if you like it)

- We need the delay to get a proper snap (it depends on the size of the snap and the speed of the PC) so increase or decrease it until you get a good one
- Check Shadow to show or hide the drop shadow
- Change the width of the shadow for your needs

I thought it is simple that way
Sorry mate :)

Hi Rashad

I totally didn't understand before! (slaps head).

...However, now I am using it correctly(?), but I only get a tiny white square captured - 16x16pix (1 minute delay!)

Right-click causes the application to crash on this line:

Code: Select all

  hwnd = h(GetGadgetState(0))

Hi VB6_to_PBx
What is your OS (aero or classic) and your GPU?
Report the status of your captured application
Increase the delay then report if you can see your application on top for the delayed time

Hi kvitaliy
While I could not reproduce that bug but I modified the previous post to avoid it

hi RASHAD ,

WIN7 64-Bit with "Windows 7 Basic" ( i forgot i had that Computer was set to : Windows 7 Basic ... i have 3 available Themes= Aero , Classic , and Basic )
....sorry ... it now works perfect in Aero 8)
... i did not checkout Classic WIN7

also checked out my brand new WIN10 Computer = "Synced Themes"
works almost perfect ... it takes a full screenshot ..but it resizes Window ... like a cropped full size screenshot

what WIN10 Theme do you recommend ?
that can keep full size Screenshot in WIN10, no cropping .

The main purpose is to calculate the window exact size specially with windows 10 and it seems that it is OK
I am going to check it with Basic theme
Have fun

Hi KCC
Increase the delay to 500 and report back
