Neue Version!
(Der alte Thread war zu lang :)

-Heavy bug, that make it possible, that the programm hangs removed (problem with protected fold)
-second heavy bug, same problem, other reason.

Fold
* Recolor of all visible Lines in the editor overworked -> scrolling over big closed folds should be much faster

Compiler-Options
- "Disable Debugger" saved but on load not checked the menu

Save-File
- When the extension is "declare", also a "declare.declare" was created

Print
* jaPBe can print. (under the file-menu)
Some notes: You can set for printing a own style (The same list as in the preferences). It is recommend to create a style with printer-optimized colors.
When you want to change the printer (or Page-setup, quality,etc) press simplte the button with the printername.
I can't disable the Linenumbers, so don't ask for it. At the moment you can't set a margin or a headline. Maybe i will add this in the feature. (The headline could be a problem, because i can't use the PB-Drawing routines)

Something funny I noticed, not really a bug or anything I guess.

When you close, the window seems to resize twice before it exits. It happens really fast on this P4 but it's funny looking :-)

Anyway, just an FYI.

It is the only method, that i know, to find out the normal WindowSize, when the window is maximized.

GPI, thank's for your editor.
I use it regularly, and i've just a litle rem about it:
I've to update sometime the Windows.res résident file, and then the loading is quite long. Even more if the windows long definition file loading is selected into the preferences .

But i think it's the parsing that is quite long for big files.

Thank's anyway...

That is the only problem with jaPBe. For autocompletation and AutoCase jaPBe collect all words and that take time on long files. It is always a good idea to split long files to many smaller files (like the jaPBe-Sourcecode).
When you want to edit a pb with the original editor, click in the explorer right with on the .pb file and choose open. It should open the .pb with the original editor.

Even more if the windows long definition file loading is selected into the preferences .
Same problem here: jaPBe controll every word if it already exist in the Definitions and this is also not fast... but, i have a idea, maybe i can increase this.

Nice work !
I like the print feature :D
Perhaps a little bug : jaPBe gets to the background while printing, so if you have other apps open you will see any other app but jaPBe (JaPBe gains focus again when printing is done, though)

Thank's for the answer GPI.
One litle more: if i fold or unflod a structure, the * is not added to the tab.
Then if i quit without saving, the state of "fold or unfold" for the structure isn't retreived when i open the code again with JaPbe.

When you save a file manual (file>Save, Ctrl+S, and so on) will always save the current file, if it is "dirty" (marked with the star) or not.

Save All, Close All will only save changed files.

GPI,
that is not the question, i just ask why the folding state of a structure or so is not saved when i quit the editor without saving the file before.
Folding or unfolding doesn't represent a change in the code, so the * is not added to the tab, and so the state of folding is not saved.
What i need is that the state of folding for every folded things to be saved, even if the code isn't modified, each time i close the editor.

I don't change the file as changed, when the foldstate is changed, because when i only want to look in a folded file, the file always saved after closing (or you get a message). in the newest Version jaPBe creates backup-files

* jaPBe can now create backups. The backups-files have the name "file.pb.XXXXX.bak" where XXXXX is a counting number. Note: The highest number must NOT be the latest Version. Look on the File Date/Time to find the latest Version.

Preferences
- Scintilla don't care about underline for LineNumbers, so i deaktivate the button for this.

Restyle with F2
- Don't work on Variables with the "Structure" $

AUTOMATIC INCLUDE! - PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY -

You can now set in the compiler-options files, which can be included by clicking on it. Also in the preferences you can set the default-Include-files, which are automatic added to all new files. So you can create your default.pbi with you commands, that you always create (for example a include for the mod-command, etc).

Notes:
When you don't save the file with a filename, auto-include will not work.

There is only one Problem: When the included file will open a file, allocate memory or something like this, the includefile can become in comflict with the main-programm or other included files because of duplicate use of filenumbers and so one.

So when you include files by the compiler-options-menu, jaPBe also creates this constants:

So when a include file will open a file, he should reserved a number by something like this:

#MyReservedFileNumber = #File_Count_ : #File_Count_=#File_Count_+1

For the main-file is important, that all file-numbers above or same #file_count_ are free to use.

Same procedure for all the other constants. One note: All constants are introducet with a 1, so 0 is free (for example for gadgets, that you don't change or you don't needs events from).

Some note for creating the own include-Files:
Global names in includes should end with a "_" and you should not use names like "Test". I would call this global variable "GPI_Test_".

Same problem with Procedures, don't call it simple "ReplaceText". When you write a tool for a RichEdit, call the procedure "RichEdit_ReplaceText", and so on.

All Compiler-Options-Include-File must be placed in the "Include\"-Directory of japbe. When the first line is ";Info: blabla", you can add a info for this include.

@All, who translate jaPBe:
I only need the new terms, not the complete file. New terms have a number over 321 (so search for "321:", "322:" )

GPI, sorry to say it but i had again the info zone disepeared !
Had a look in the jaPBe.pref file and saw again the InfoBoxHeight value
set to 0 alone ! !

Do know why ?
