Does anyone bougt the HP 250 G5 (X0N34EA) notebook?

Hello,

I have just bought the HP 250 G5 (X0N34EA) notebook as "returned item from customer" with the note "package was opened for the purpose of testing".

Now I unbox the notebook and can not find any document that lists the delivery contents.

The following components were found in the package:
- The Notebook
- the Power supply
- A separate connection cable to the power supply with the socket
- warranty certificate, quick start description, list of HP phone numbers and the invoice

The device is praised as "Windows 7 preinstalled with update option to Windows 10".

On HP's website, the following description is available for this model:
"On this system, Windows 7 Professional is already pre-installed and includes a license and media for Windows 10 Pro [...]" "

http://store.hp.com/GermanyStore/Merch/ ... BD&sel=NTB

I'm afraid now that the license and the media were embezzled by the customer who has sent back the notebook to the seller. Unfortunately the seller (Jacob.de) just can not answer my question about the delivery content for this item.

If this notebook was bought from someone of you, please can you tell me whether the package includes a separate Win10 license sticker and a physical Win10 DVD? Thanks in advance.

Greetings
Kurzer

I'm pretty sure that most Windows 10 licenses for new computers are built into the UEFI BIOS. I don't recall seeing stickers on the bottom of computers with Windows 10 pre-installed because of this.

Thanks for your post, Mistrel.
I now got the confirmation that I have to request the Windows 10 media and the license from HP. So they are not part of the notebooks delivery contents.
