Hello & Thanks ,
Odds & Ends questions .
1.eg.messageRequester :
In the IDE , when I type in "message..." + intelli-sense :
Is there a shortcut-key to replace the 'left_doubleClick'
to cause intelli-sense to fill in the rest of "MessageRequester" ,
so I don't have to leave the keyboard and grab hold of the mouse ?

2.PureBasic_Compilation(14).exe x64 :
When I am writing a pgm , and compiling code (testing) ,
and I do a #PB_Event_CloseWindow to end the test ,
sometines the PureBasic_Compilation0.exe
doesn't terminate (viewing with windows TaskMaster (TM) ) .
And if I don't keep an eye on TM , it can keep stacking up the
entries in TM , sometimes as high as PureBasic_Compilation(14).exe .
So I have to keep the TM open , and end each compile from TM .

Is there something I can do programatically , to completely end the compiler. ?

Thanks

Hi!

First question:
Use TAB key to get "MessageRequester".

Second question:
Don't know without code example.

Something's clearly amiss. Windows Task Manager only shows active processes. So, if the compilation still appears, it simply means that it has not terminated properly.

The first thing depend on Preferences > Shortcuts > Instert the selected AutoComplete word. You can assign key what you like most for this (TAB, RETURN etc)

The second can also be done using shortcuts: Debugger -> Kill program (I've assigned it to Ctrl+~ ^^)

But that is not OK if your compilations keep hanging after you quit them, I've seen such problem only with old PB versions. Try playing with "create executable in source directory" and other compiler options, maybe it will help someway. Or there should be problems with your code or OS.
