The new version of the long term support branch of PureBasic is available for testing on your online account. All the fixes done on the 5.50 should be also in this version. We don't expect any regression, so feel free to test it on your project to see if all seems fine.

compiler options : Unicode support is optional. I thought that option disappeared from all future versions of Purebasic.

All bug fix releases in the 5.4x LTS cycle are still capable of internal Ascii.

Fred, etc: If you fix bugs in this version that are also present in 5.50 final, will you be issuing a new 5.50 final (5.51)?

My guess is, during or once the LTS beta phases are over, the non-LTS version will also be updated. Assuming all bugs not just specific to LTS release. :p

Final version is out as all bugs were already tested in the 5.50 release.
