Hi,
I downloaded acrobat reader dc and installed it,

i want to remove the new DC version,
and my XI back with all my extras.
Is there someone who can help me here ?
I look on the internet but did not find some good answers.
They did not asked me if I agreed to remove the old version.
thanks,
marc,

You can download the "Old" Adobe Reader from the original site :
http://get.adobe.com/de/reader/enterprise/
(Sorry its german text, i don't find the english one...)
First choose as System : Windows 7, then choose your language and at least you have the choice, what Reader you want to have...

I use
SumatraPDF instead of Adobe bloatware.

Hi Marc_256,
You could try the following link which takes you to old and current versions of adobe reader. Play with the "go up to a higher level" and you'll find access to other adobe programs too.
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/
Skywalk, I'm a fan of SumatraPDF too, so much leaner than adobe reader and reads more formats too.
Hope this helps,
Gadget

I upgraded to DC and found that it actually runs a lot quicker and has been better optimised for smaller displays like my netbook 1024*600.
Sumatra is good and I use it to read ebooks, but I am not sure it handles digital signatures and filling out forms etc.

Yes, I should have mentioned, Sumatra is for quick reading only. To edit pdf forms you must use Adobe or
Foxit. I rarely have to edit forms of this nature, so I don't want the bloat and upgrade services running in the background pestering me almost weekly.

I need begiums ID card reader support for my tax and vat declarations,
for the electronic ID card signature.
So, will test the other ones...
