Hi,

I don't know how to reproduce it :oops:
So at the moment it is only informational.

I had a project open and around 9 files from it.
Everything worked normal, then I closed one of the files (which was now empty) and:

I have noticed the same: Having more than ~5 sources opened, the IDE sometimes crashes if one tab gets closed too fast (after switching to it). It seems to happen more often when using the [Ctrl+W] key combination.

I've seed this bug too with PB5.40 on my MacBook with MacOS 10.6.8.

I don't work with projects / open project file, but I'm using several include files and have open around 10 files at PB IDE start.

I think it has something to do with the 'Session history' (probably messing up something?) even if there are no changes to automatically opened source files. Deactivating it helps on my system...

I disable session history and projects and have no problems with 10+ includefiles.
I find it a faster way to work and debug without crashes.

@Fred
Not really, only some more information: A couple of weeks ago (when I first posted in this thread) I worked on a larger application and always had around 5 project tabs opened. Now it's finished and I'm just coding some regular stuff (without project handling and not that many tabs). Interestingly it doesn't happen anymore... To me this can only mean that it has something to do with the internal handling of project's tabs.

Already fixed in current release.
