Done bug reports are regularly cleared from the public forums. Counting the number of posts says nothing.Vera wrote:I'm aware that Linux didn't get any 'dones' for years. When the current fixing cycle started I checked all three OSs. For MAC one could find two and for Windows loads.
I thank you very much Vera for you help in getting TPTB to finally take look at providing a solution for us.Vera wrote:On a sidenote:
I too tried to find out how an independant, external font could be loaded in Linux. No way - I couldn't find a single idea/hint for a solution. But I found at least three requests for help by you and none got any kind of support.
That is just strange to assume that there had never been anybody able to do it nor any interest to achieve it. ... but maybe we'll end up lucky with an 'awesome thread'![]()

Doing a quick search, all I can find from you is rants about how the PB font lib is wrong, but no question about registering fonts. Sometimes it helps to just ask directly.heartbone wrote: I thank you very much Vera for you help in getting TPTB to finally take look at providing a solution for us.![]()
Doing a quick search, would it be correct to surmise that you require recognized questions to be in the Queen's English?freak wrote:Doing a quick search, all I can find from you is rants about how the PB font lib is wrong, but no question about registering fonts. Please don't be.freak wrote:An attitude like that almost makes me regret having spend the time to research the solution and posting it in the first place.
It's cruel to implement a further fighting, an unfair comparison and additional sublime sign of rank hierarchy, while suppressing a vivid communication between humans.DontTalkToMe wrote:Looks funny and a good way to massage egos !
It would be nice and therapeutic.
You're pleased too exaggeratedly moan about in your eyes superfluous postings while you yourself missuse a reply to push your own agenda and leading a thread offtopic.bbanelli wrote:it just seems pretty lame to post millions of <AOL> like posts with thanks and appreciation,

You make its sound like just because you or somebody else asked a question, I somehow have an obligation to provide a solution simply because I might know it. An attitude like that almost makes me regret having spend the time to research the solution and posting it in the first place.
Perhaps you are not aware, but your statement (in your quotes) can easily be read as a sarcastic whine. It is possible you did not intend for that, but it is very easy for an outsider to see how Freak is unpleased with your attitude--intended or not.heartbone wrote: Attitude?

The only question I've posted that you could claim that I may have posted for you (to ignore) is, "Oh well, maybe next year at least one of the show stoppers will get fixed?".
