Touch Screens

Even though there are instances where a touch screen may be the best
input method, for the vast majority of human sourced data creating
activity occurring with digital devices, and for most gaming interactions,
the flexibility offered by the keyboard and mouse combination is far superior.
That having been said, after watching a bit of recent sci-fi, (TV shows
and movies), it seems like the touch screen will continue to be a
greater and greater part of the computing sphere.
Because I possess a Windows® Vista® era touch screen laptop, I've decided
to investigate exactly what programming options I have with my dinosaur.
I've tracked down the drivers: http://www.short-circuit.com/support/files.html
Now after scanning the boards for messages about touch screens,
I think that PureBasic has all that I need to design and run a snappy UI
executing on a touch screen device running Windows® or Linux.
Thanks Fred et al., for the niceness of PureBasic.
