oldskool demo...

Hi all!
I´ve done an oldskool-"demo" in PB as my 1st code...
Nevertheless I can´t stop doing it, as more FX come to my mind (AMIGA rulez! still miss you my "girl friend" <- AMIGA is spanish for.. guess what

)...
Already included are 2D stars (left 2 right, right 2 left, up 2 down, down 2 up and all kinda mixtures), 3D stars (with roating too), scrollers (standard, zoom (top, middle, bottom), wipe, bouncing, rotating), logos (zoom..) I´m still thinking of plasma, sine scrollers, bobs, fireworks and so on.... As I can´t stop coding, will someone please give me a link to post it up (as I don´t have a personal hp)??

PS: Anyway: All FX can be done inside the scrollertext (like switching scrollers on/off. changing stars (2D/3D on/off), number of stars, fading lines, boxes and so on.... stop me now, or I´ll never finish it...

Guys (and Girls?) !
I´ve send my source to reelmediaproductions.com. Although it´s still an alpha release, it´s fully working and free to use/adapt/improve for you.
It´s using loads of (nested) structures, 2D and 3D sprites, load/write/delete, catch/zoom and so on.... My 1st source....
Feel free to use it in your own sources....

PS: If you miss any file, post here....
PPS: Using the source/ideas?? credit me!
Download the source from:

After eliminating some Fsound calls (no library for them) and enabling the procedure for MOD in your smaller source , "oldskool" began to work fine . It's very strong and impressive this old scool , a good example !

Yes!
You´re right! Not all of you have the FMOD includes. The file is called "PureFmod1_1.zip" (also "PureFMOD.zip")
I´m not sure which [User] PureLib includes/provides the Mod()-Command.... Could someone help me out on this ???? *PANIC*

Anyway: That Dll-Wrapper was done by -at least- Danilo (and Froggerprogger? not quite sure... ) there´s a dl-link....
check it out:

-> Guys!!! See why I´m asking for a "PureLib" board (topic!)?!?!?!
hallo !

don' t stop! keep going!
btw. I ran your demo at work on an ATI Rage Xpert99 (32MB).
The 'Oldskool-Logo' is not displaying there. All I could see was an emtpy, semi-transparent quad.
No problems on my Geforce4 though.
I know, ATI cards suck big time but I thought you might want to know...
Keep those oldskool-effects coming!

I'm so sorry for you.
I've downloaded this along time ago, but last month my storage device (You know where i keep all my source code) it stopped working and i've lost all my sources.
I have a friend of mine that probably has the source code i'll try to talk with i'm tomorow. Maybe you are in Luck.
I'll try, C ya.

Hi bobobo,

Thanx for looking anyway!!
