What's good about the PureBasic developers is that they listen to their community and that every user has had the chance to affect the development.

I will use my self as an example here! 8)
Just look at all the feature requests I had which got implemented:

Edit a preference file without rewriting the whole file...
A WITH command...
OpenWindow() - Title before flags
ScreenWidth() and ScreenHeight()
ClearMemory()
Just a simple wish about the protected keyword
PB IDE - Own color schemes
Set FontRequester style
Extra flag in WindowWidth() and WindowHeight()
CopyList(LinkedList(),LinkedList2())
Courier as font in debugger
SaveImageToMemory()
OpenSubMenu(Text$ [, ImageID])

Bugs reported, notice how all are marked with [Done]

How did YOU affect the development?
Please share stories! :)

in may 08 2014: i have posted here: http://purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=59269
(i suspect that the purebasic collection (OpenWindow + OpenWindowedScreen + InitSprite) are OpenGLiZED , ie they provides the suitable environment to use Opengl functions immediately without special preparations....)
in may 30 2014
PureBasic 5.30 beta 9 released!:
Added: OpenGLGadget() with native opengl commands ande constants support for Windows, OSX and Linux
http://purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=59459
other users asked for this gadget before, and have praised its addition, but may be my usage of the word "OpenGLiZED" accelerated the decision to the development of this gadget.

also i have posted several bugs and it is corrected in the next versions

You didn't cause all of those, though. Some were requested before you did. :twisted:

Mark my words:
Hoping for more gets you less.
:shock:

No harm in hoping, dreaming, or even wishing for that matter. :wink:

It's the whining and pining that gets you in trouble. :lol:
