Wilbert and I would like to announce Macrotune!
Macrotune is a Music Macro Language (MML) editor that can be used with Wilbert's PSG Module.
Enjoy! ;)

Image

Features:
  1. Six waveforms: Triangle, Sawtooth, Complex A, Complex B, Square and Noise.
  2. Four MML editors with syntax coloring.
  3. Each channel has its own start/default options. These settings can be altered throughout your tune with the Music Macro Language.
  4. A time signature gadget that allows you to visually see the current beats per measure in the editors while you type.
  5. A pattern editor to piece together your verses for each channel. Each verse is written on its own line in the editors.
  6. Volume envelopes with or without interpolation.
  7. Copy your MML data to the clipboard for use in PureBasic with the PSG Module.
  8. Share your tunes/songs via the internet, such as forums or email, using "Copy MML" and "Paste MML".
  9. Export as a Wave (*.wav) file.
  10. Playback and recording timer.
  11. Play only a selected part of a verse. Good for listening to small edits you made to your tune/song.
  12. Four demo tunes to help you understand how the app works.
  13. A project info box for the author's name, song title, copyright or even notes for yourself.
  14. Includes a help file and the PSG Module code.

Nice, but it would be even better, if I can choose the audio-output. Now it is always the default (poor pc-audio-card here).

Updated to v1.2.0.

Macrotune now supports volume envelopes. Be sure to read the included help file and check out "Demo 4" for a basic example. I'll update the Windows version within a day or two. I have a couple other things I need to finish up. ;)

EDIT: Windows version now available. ;)

Thanks for this software. I did not know much about a music macro language before I look in this software. I really like all the control of the music that can happen in real time. I also enjoy waveform music from the times of Nintendo Entertainment System.
