alphachannel ....

i have searched the board and found a restored thread, which was opened in january, about alphablending and pb.

now i read in the help, that the alphachannel of .png:s und .tga:s are ignored by pb. will that be in the next version or is there an other way to load an alpha-channel into a sprite?

In fact, you can't associate an alphachannel with a regular sprite. May be in a future version, yes. You have so called alphachannel sprites, which are 8 bits only to allow nice shadow effects.

i would be pleased if this feature is in a near future release of pb, because these alphasprites are just not the same.
for my it's very important to have an alpha channel in the sprite to "import" the grafics i made with other programms in purebasic.
