If the oceans die, we die?

If this is not news to you, then you probably have earned a Bachelor of Science and actually use the knowledge you gained.
If it is news to you, 1) Don't hate the messenger 2) You can use the knowledge to protect yourself.

Because this information directly relates to our ability to effectively program, and it is seemingly being ignored,
I think that at the least a mention should be made in the forum of this significant lifestyle changing event which is currently transpiring.

The Death Of The Eastern Pacific

I'm down to my five last cans of three year old tuna. :(
I've been stretching it by making chuna (tuna mixed with canned chicken) which pretty much tastes the same.

Because all the oceans are connected, and the BP/GOM situation is still ongoing, I'm a bit paranoid about the Atlantic fish.
However, I'm GUESSING it's still comparatively OK for consumption, and I may consider consuming a small amount of the Atlantic Ocean seafood until its price gets out of reach due to tight supply.

Naturally I could not post anything of this dire nature without offering a possible solution...

Sun Gazing, is there more to it than meets the eye?

Man lives for 11 years eating only sunlight

*Update* One Month into Sun Gazing - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zefv0jBgy4

How to Sungaze

This video "Sungazing documentary.mov " is in two parts, linked below:
YouTube comment: "Sungazing is reversing my Achromatopsia. You'd think a guy like me would go blind by looking at the sun, but its having the opposite effect. I'm actually gaining colourvision and I'm not as sensitive to light."

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHfwAbn7jvQ
YouTube comment: "I began sungazing on Aug 26th. Love it. Feel great! Years ago I read about the Tibetan farmers who did this. I wanted to try it, but didn't know how. HRM has presented a method. Who cares if he has eaten food. Your body will dictate whether it needs food or not. Since just about all indigenous peoples of the planet were doing this for thousands of years, there must be something to it. An interesting site to visit is Gene Savoy's site. Wow!! "

Standing and looking at the sun for long periods of time will look really nutty to anyone who sees you and does not know what you are doing.
http://onlyinukraine.blogspot.com/2006/ ... where.html

Stand in the open air (you cannot Sun Gaze effectively through a glass window), stand barefoot on the ground; it is best to stand on bare soil, sand (as in a beach or river bed). AVOID standing on concrete, tarmac, tiles, lawns and most definitely not on the top of buildings or another manmade structures. The direct and physical connection with the Earth is important to get the most out of Sun Gazing.

The ground is too dang cold for me to be standing on it barefoot for that long.
Definitely a summer thing around here.

You are correct.

Normally I'd expect that anyone interested would check out the links and investigate how to do it properly.
However Joakim, in the unlikely case there are stupid people who read this thread and as a result go stare at the midday sun,
I'll post here that the gazing must occur within the first 44 minutes after sunrise or in the last 44 minutes before sundown, so the atmospheric UV protection is in place.
It is recommended to start with 10 seconds, then increase the duration of gazing by 10 second increments each day to the full recharge time.
If you want to know more about this ancient practice then follow the links.

Your living in Norway close to the Arctic might present a bit of a problem gathering the solar energy during the winter.
You'd likely need food stocks to sustain you through the low light time.

If plants can convert light to energy, and if we are a higher level life form...

Good news for naive people!
American scientists develop miracle pill against credulity

However, I don't know whether there is any help for people who are completely out of touch with reality ...

Plants can convert light to sugar
Humans can convert light to electricity

Some are sweet and others are smart

Serious concerns:

Will light-eaters reduce global warming?
Will light-eaters bring back the dark ages?

What do they vomit?
Will they donate their gastrointestinal tracts?
Will the toilet-industry collapse?
What will future generations look like?

Final words of surrender:

| : Like ice in the sunshine : |
I'm melting away,
On this sunny day.

... and what does the tuna think about it all ?

There are still too many in the western cultures who believe that "If it ain't on TV, then it ain't real.".
For them, my best advice would be to totally ignore these ideas, this is not a message for you.

For the rest...

You actually seem to believe that anybody here is interested in any "advice" from a guy like you. Oh boy ...

If I had any hope that you have a slight idea what "learning" means, that I'd ask you to finally learn that this forum is not the proper place for unloading your medieval hopeless pocus and the the poor results of your mental efforts.

Very unfunny Joakim, because your country is under attack much like mine is.

US population 2013: 316 million Projected 2025: 69 million
Norway population 2013: 5.1 million Projected 2025: 1.9 million

I can see where Little might be coming from in trying to get people to ignore this serious situation.
Germany population 2013: 81 million Projected 2025: 80 million
Hopefully his AR response will cause him to incur some seriously bad karma if it causes anyone in the Americas to ignore what is happening.

Population stats from a military contractor? Really?

You're simply outdoing yourself today.
