EDIT: Version 1.3 is totally obsolete now and has some bugs in it.
Due to the lack of feedback, I've continued the work and enhanced it greatly at my website.
This post won't be updated anymore.
Too many links to take care of each time I enhance the software. The 'initial basic code' for
'Something beautiful" is available in the 3D code section.

A special 'thank you' to applePi - for taking the time to test and giving feedback.
A thank you goes to Bisonte for testing on Win 8.1, Nice to know it works there too.
The only two excellent guys out of approx. 600 views giving any type of feedback.

On Win8.1 x64 the x64 version not fill the combo with the screenmodes, so the program won't start.

The x86 version works well.

@Bisonte.
Thanks for the feedback.
That's odd...I haven't got Windows 8.1 x64 installed (yet), but I'll check to see, if I can solve the problem.

EDIT: x64 package updated in first post..Let me know if it works.

same problem again with the x64 version.

The combobox not filled with screenmodes, so the app cannot start...

Win8.1 Pro x64

That's absolutely no good...

Could you please try the following exe file with the x64 package?
I've compiled using opengl this time.
Thank you for taking the time to test it.
link removed and first post updated.

thats really nice. some equations resembles the formation of galaxies such as number
57 and 58 . this is a proof that purebasic can be used efficiently in math and art, in research and education and for fun.

I completely agree. The possibilities are endless. :-)

Sorry... the opengl version is also the same.

I don't think that has something to do with the rendertype. I think its the way you get the screenmodes to fill the combo... maybe.

By the way. I have only one monitor connected ;)

Ohhh well..I didn't think it would work.
The odd thing is, that I'm doing nothing special...
1, Initsprite()
2. enumerating screenmodes
3. adding them to a combo..
I'm gonna look through my code and see if there's something I can do differently or maybe optimize.

EDIT:Okey Dokey..
Now I've removed a lot of conditions and stripped the enumeration down to a bare minimum,
sorted and added to the combo - nothing else..

Compiled normal again. Hope it works this time.
Updated links in the first post.

i haven't noticed the 1.1 version, you have added many good graphics. but if i want to vote for one graphics i will vote for number 55 , which are like a real chaotic interwoven strings , the second choice is for number 58 which is like a galaxy.
best wishes
